Savannah Green is a one year old baby who moves to Tommy's neighborhood in "Green Pickles". She's the oldest of the Green siblings at one year old.
Description
Savannah is a one year old, African American girl. She has black hair, which she wears in two ponytails. She only wears a light green shirt and diaper like Dil currently does in the series, and Tommy did as a one year old. She likes to watch Dora the Explorer, Goober, and Reptar but her favorite show is Dora.
She first moved into the Rugrats neighborhood in "Green Pickles" and now comes over Tommy's place to join in on the new adventures. She quickly befriends and becomes best friends with Dil due to being the same age as him along with having similar interests. She along with Dil and Tommy gets her first library card in Library Antics. What was later revealed to be her imagining her own version of a story that her mother was reading her, Savannah enters fairytale land where DIl falls under a sleeping spell. With her friend asleep she has to quickly make it to the castle and become a princess or else her friend sleeps forever.
Savannah first finds out that she's going to be a big sister at the end of the The Return of the Box episode and with the help of Tommy and the others learn some new tips about being a big sister. She later gets to finally meet her new baby sister, Samayah in Dil's Loud Love after her mother goes into labor later into the episode.
She's shown to be slightly jealous of Dil suddenly only playing with Lily Loud during her visit to Yucaipa with her family. Dil and Savannah end up having a fight which they make up for not long after.
Trying to prove Phil and Lil wrong that Samayah was a bad baby, Savannah suggest each of them show Savannah one thing about the world and how it works. She personally shows Samayah the laundry room where clothes were being washed.
In Changes, she gets upset that Tommy took Samayah's bottle away from her after she specifically told him that he could not do so. Later in Fugitive Dil, she accuses Dil for biting a hole into Samayah's binkie after discovering it was destroyed by Tanner when she discovers the hole also in Dil's binkie while giving it back to him. Later, after an explanation from Tommy, she apologizes to Dil.
Savannah dresses up as Dora the Explorer for Halloween. She and DIl end up accidentally getting trapped in Tanner and Teddy's bedroom in the search for bandaids for Angelica.
In attempt to help DIl, who is being overprotected by Tommy after a first cut, she sneaks off with him at the playground to play together. She later has a sleepover with DIl in which they play together and find out that Dil's cut is almost healed. She does feel bad when DIl gets his second cut seeing as she promised Tommy that Dil wouldn't get hurt. In Dil's dream she still remains a one year old and is happy for Dil to be the older brother. She ends up witnessing the accident of Tommy not only getting younger but pulling down Dil's shorts. Later on, at Boris and Minka's cabin she refuses to help Dil get rid of Tommy as she stays behind to stand guard in case the adults saw they were missing. Upon Dil waking up from his nightmare, she comforts him and they go to watch Goober together.
When Tommy tries to prove to Dil that baths aren't to be feared, it's revealed that she doesn't like to get water on her face during her baths due to not liking getting soap in her eyes.
She is taken to the park with Dil and her sister after Didi offers to give Ebony and Alan a break as she plays with Dil. She also suggests to Dil, after he and Tommy had an argument that morning, that he should apologize to his brother. Seeing them next at the Thanksgiving dinner her parents hosted, she asks if Tommy and DIl were still upset with each other. In which, to her relief, they had made up with each other.
After her parents invite everyone up to the mountains for Christmas, she joins in with singing Christmas carols in hopes to make her sister's first Christmas great. Later, after going to the park on a cold winter day, she and the others encounter the McNulty brothers. Following the encounter, the Rugrats all join in for their own version of the Winter Olympics. However, due to her sister being too young, Savannah is paired with no one other than Tanner. Savannah is unhappy at first with the pairing seeing as she still had the very clear memory of the other toddler destroying her sister's binkie a while back. But, after getting a genuine apology from Tanner, they work together to complete each round of the games and soon make it to the final round with Savannah being the runner and Tanner doing the nerf gun segment. Savannah and Tanner end up winning the 'Lympics together.
The following days after Tommy fights off a stomach bug, Savannah arrives to see Dil looking down as he explains that his brother thinks he's turning back into a baby baby. Of course, wanting to see for themselves the group all go up to discover Tommy hadn't changed and was just fighting off a nasty bug. They wake him to tell him that he wasn't turned back into a baby baby in which they get thanked for helping with an "itchynation" which leave both Savannah and Dil confused as they never heard of such a thing. After Dil asks, Tommy explains to them both what an "itchynation" was which had Savannah asked the follow up of if her sister was going to have one. She learns that, while not right at the moment, Samayah will eventually have her own.
While playing with some of Angelica's old hand-me-down toys, Savannah and Dil pretend to be a Jelly Bear's parents that are bringing him to the doctor.
After a few days, it was early in the morning when Savannah curiously explores her house wondering what her family was up to at the moment. Making her way downstairs, she finds her mother in the downstairs bathroom along with the sounds of the toilet flushing. Getting curious, Savannah attempted to see what was in the potty only to fall short due to her size. However, it did make her curious as to what it would be like to sit on a potty as a big kid, as she scooted the training potty that was kept at her place for her older friends and decided to try sitting on it for research purposes. Her mom notices her and finds it funny yet taking note that her oldest may be interested in using the potty. After having breakfast, Savannah and Samayah are taken over to Dil and Tommy's house by Ebony who was seeking Didi's help with starting potty training.
Meeting up with Dil and Tommy, Savannah tells them about her morning and how her mom was saying something about potty training. This leads to her freaking out when she learns that her curiosity sparked the thought of potty training to her mom. After taking a breath to calm down, she asks Tommy how his experience with potty training went. Then as everyone else arrived, Savannah also learned of Chuckie, Kimi, Phil, and Lil's experiences on how they got potty trained and their reasoning, if any, for it. By the end of the explanations, Savannah feels a little more confident in trying, at least to make her parents happy, as she, her mom carried her and her sister back home. Later that day, Savannah got to pick out her own shorts to wear, and her mom picked up some training pants to wear. The following morning, Savannah began her potty training as she was changed into her training pants instead of diaper. After having several accidents on the first day, Savannah decided from then on that she was going to do her best to potty train because she actually wanted to and not just for her parents sake. Over the next few days, up until the end of the week, Savannah worked hard to try and use her potty until she was having very few to no accidents at all anymore. Soon at the end of the week, Ebony and Alan take her to the store to let her pick out her own big kid underwear to wear now that she was no longer having accidents. Soon the next day came and Savannah, now being fully out of her training pants and diapers for good, got to proudly show everyone that she not only got new shorts to wear but was now 100 percent potty trained and no longer wearing diapers.
