Hector is an African-American baby, whom Tommy befriends at the pediatrician's office. His mother like Didi, reads Lipshitz, calling it her Bible. Like Tommy, Hector was at first confused by what his mother meant by a booster shot until Tommy explains it to him. Hector seems a bit distrustful of adults, after Tommy explains to him what a booster shot is, he shakes his head in disbelief saying "I knew it, I knew it. Growed ups are always trying stuff like this. Why can't they just leave us alone?". Hector is also afraid of Angelica when she tries to know what he and Tommy are up to. He doesn't trust her because of her mean eyes. Tommy and Hector unite to escape, in an effort to avoid their vaccination, which turns out to be not so bad after all. As he's given a green lollipop from Dr. Schaucter and a bandaid for fun. He appears in Babysmurfrocks' Series in the story "Hector Comes To Play" after his and Tommy's moms set up a playdate for them while Tommy's friends are away for the week.

He is wears that same thing as Tommy, a shirt and diaper, except his shirt is yellow. In Babysmurfrocks' Series he is seen wearing yellow overalls with a blue shirt underneath and black shoes. He also has grown in a couple more teeth with 2 of them being visible.
